Homeowner Fundraiser Forum

On June 15, 2009 the campaign staff hosted a homeowner’s forum to provide information to participants in the district on home ownership issues and remodeling considerations. The guest speaker, Gary Grimes, Owner of Artisan Design of Columbia Heights, discussed subjects including picking contractors, contract language, and real estate investment considerations.
The Question and answer session produced some lively conversation. Participants liked the learning opportunity and look forward to CCCR hosting other events in the future. Plenty of food finished off a great time for all.
