Minnesota House Floor Guest

May 12, 2009

While at the State Capital today, I spent some time conversing with Representative Bob Gunther (R) District: 24A. We exchanged common interests, and Bob provided information on House governmental operations while in session. Additionally, Bob invited, and I accepted, an invitation to sit on the House Floor while session transpired. I spent about an hour and a half on the floor in the press area. When time permitted Bob sat with me explaining some history of 50-A and political posturing that occur around
the capital.

About half way through my time on the House floor, four Sergeant of Arms approached me inquiring as to my credentials for being on the floor. Bob graciously took control and provided instruction to the guards of my permission to be on the floor.

Thanks Bob Gunther for your kindness today, and I plan working with you as the Representative in 2011 and into the future.
