Bus Brakes

Good morning everyone. Today most Americans rest having time off to celebrate our Declaration of Independence. Today is also a special day for our campaign. Last evening, while driving around the district the bus brakes locked up. This problem occurred a couple times in the past two years. Using some shifting we were able to release the locked brakes. Last evening this attempt did not work. We had to park the bus at David's Auto until Tuesday and get an estimate on making repairs.
For now, like our muffler repair need, our bus is mechanically down. Part of having an "outside the box" campaign is the possibility of mechanical breakdowns and the resulting repairs. So on this restful July 5, 2010, we appeal to our supporters to donate funds for the brake repairs. At this point we are budgeting $350.00, funds we do not have.
