Bus Canvas in Precinct 2

July 7, 2010

Today Peter, our campaign reporter, joined our bus tour in precinct 2 Columbia Heights. We picked up the bus at David's Auto and spent time at Albert's at 40th and 7th in Columbia Heights, where Peter and I enjoyed a root beer. Albert's was hosting Bingo, so I stepped up to the plate and ended up donating $1.00 to charity. Then off to Central and 41st where I stood on our new bus platform on the back of our campaign bus. The motorists seamed to enjoy my efforts to draw attention to the campaign. We received many enthusiastic jesters and one thumbs down. We need at least one thumb down to maintain our humble vision.

Chris and Mona managed to catch up and join us for a while as we spent time traveling around the precinct, meeting a variety of voters ready to return to our Constitution. We met up with a group of youth not old enough to vote but had parents. So we shared the constitutional message with them, and they were ready to tell their parents.

We also managed to get a couple brute guys into our bus and sign their names along with a message to St. Paul. When you see our campaign bus traveling around, voting age citizens are encouraged to sign the inside and send their message to St. Paul.
