Today we traveled the north central areas of the district. We met many very nice folks and even a couple not so pleasant neighbors. One not so pleasant experience happened to Mona. As Mona started mentioning the Constitution, the homeowner demanded that Mona leave, as she tossed a handful of dirt at Mona's legs.
We also met some folks who legally moved to America and became citizens. I personally like this group of people when we meet. Folks who migrate from other parts of the world have a special appreciation for our Constitution. The consistent theme of this group of citizens is appreciation for liberty and the value of constitutional protection from government. I have observed
American-born citizens do not necessarily grasp the value of our Constitution.
