Bus Traversing the District
July 4, 2010
Today, toward late afternoon, we spent about three hours traveling the district. We tried driving down several alleys, as most groups were in back yards. That was a challenge, but hats off to the garbage truck drivers in our district. The people were so receptive, glad to meet me, and proud to vote in November. I only received one "middle finger salute" from a predominantly democratic upscale neighborhood home and one person in the same area stating to Mona, "No thanks, I know who Tim is." We discovered this group of young adults in Fridley having a great time together. Only three of the eight would take a photo with me. Apparently some are not photogenic, but we still have eight votes.
