Cable Show

September 15, 2010

With two cable shows to produce prior to Election Day, Tim and Sue Jeffers met at the White Bear Lake studio and produced a great product. They discussed Special Session House File 1, which is a group of bills illegally combined together to satisfy all the political powers needed for passage in St. Paul.  We had some frank discussion on the need for change in government
and a return to sound Constitutional principles.

In addition to Tim's show taping called "We the People," Sue produced four other candidate shows under the title "Meet the Candidates." Gina Bauman, a candidate for Senate 50 recorded her cable show after Tim.

Two years ago Tim had the concept of using the cable media to reach voters in his district. A couple shows were produced on John Anderson's small hand held camera. Terri Barber expanded the concept to professional production and recruited Bob Odden. As the idea expanded further, Tim was instrumental, recruiting Sue Jeffers as the show's guest host. After just a couple of months the cable concept exploded as Mona Anderson and Chris Rowett, but especially Mona, took the lead and started scheduling multiple candidates at each taping.

As we conclude the 2010 election season, I specifically say a very special Thank You to the above mentioned pioneers in political creativity. Without the combination of effort by creative, committed supporters, this campaign would be just another after thought on the political map.
