Contrasting Philosophies

September 26, 2010

I wanted to share with you the clearly defined opposite philosophies of government that Carolyn Laine and I have. Our campaign platforms are wrapped up in the two statements below. You need to decide what legacy you are intending to leave your posterity. Visit both Carolyn's http://www.carolynlaine.com/index.html  and my www.timutzforhouse.com website; know the issues and what is at stake. Carolyn Laine would continue Minnesota on the current path, and I would return Minnesota to the fundamentals. If you truly want the fundamentals, then give generously today. We need support to finish this successful campaign to victory. With only a few days remaining we need to reach every corner of HD50-A with our Constitutional message; to do so means your financial investment today.

Copied from Carolyn Laine campaign website 9/26/10 Government is the only entity in our society which has as its very purpose
the good of ALL the citizenry. It rightfully is the place of representation of the needs of all. Through the balance of our three branches of government, we constantly fine-tune the working of this purpose. I take very seriously the responsibility of participating in this through the legislative branch. Some call for little to no government; I work for good government.

Copied from our State Constitution 9/26/10 Tim Utz position PREAMBLE We, the people of the state of Minnesota, grateful to God for our civil and religious liberty, and desiring to perpetuate its blessings and secure the same to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution.
BILL OF RIGHTS ARTICLE I Section 1. OBJECT OF GOVERNMENT Government is instituted for the security, benefit and protection of the people, in whom all political power is inherent, together with the right to alter, modify or reform government whenever required by the public good.
