Library Fundraiser

I participated in the Columbia Heights Library fundraiser tonight at Murzyn Hall. Joining me were Mona, Chris, along with his mother, Matt, and Peter our campaign photographer. Tasty Pizza of Hilltop, Minnesota, provided the spaghetti and Culvers of St. Anthony, Minnesota, provided the ice cream desert. A salad and nonalcoholic drinks were included for the $8.00 admission. A $5.00 raffle for prizes also complemented a complete evening of food and entertainment.

The Columbia Heights Library is one of only a few remaining local city owned facilities in the state. They plan to raise several million dollars to build a new facility that is able to house the large usage and demand the current facility experiences.
