Visiting Local Hangouts

Tim, Mona and Chris took to some of the evening hot spots in Columbia Heights and Hilltop. We visited Tasty Pizza* (the hanger), Pro Billiards and The Star Bar**. Tim had a pleasant conversation with Star Bar owner Robert Moreland. At Pro Billiards customers were having a great time enjoying pool, while at Tasty (the hanger) Karaoke had plenty of participants.

One recurring theme I continue discussing with business, especially small local business, is that businesses want to service customers but government from local, and county to state agencies are placing ever increasing regulation on the ability to operate. Customers are paying increased costs and losing services as government regulate and restrict consumer choice.
