Tim Utz's Views on Charity

"We the People” have lost touch with an important purpose in life, that of helping others. We have grossly abdicated the God-given responsibility of helping those less fortunate. Government has no business nor ability to discern generosity. Our current state welfare system is the best testimony to the ineptness of government to help the helpless.

Many private organizations exist to help the less fortunate. Local churches, non-profit groups, and emergency organizations need our personal involvement and support. I suggest getting involved at your local place of worship; give your time and money. Below is a list of non-profit organizations who would gladly accept your monetary gifts and time.

As usual, take personal responsibility and review, research, and ask questions of organizations you consider investing in. Know who you're working with and be satisfied that the organization is for you.

Columbia Heights Non-profit

Fridley Non-profit

Saint Anthony non-profit

YMCA

YWCA

Red Cross

Salvation Army

United Way

 Memorial Blood Bank

To make real change in state government “We the People” first must make changes in our purpose in life. We must see our personal responsibility caring for others directly, not dependant on government.
