February 18, 2010: Legislative Report #10
House Bill Introduction
Today legislators introduced 52 bills: HF Nos. 3030 through 3081. What can a person conclude but that our elected leadership intends to increase regulating our lives through increased restrictions on liberty and personal responsibility.
Government is incapable of legislating conduct without imposing force; that is, force through dictating compliance using law. The result is decreased private initiative, creativity, and investment, along with an increase in government cost. The resulting tax burden from government appetite to sustain this self- generating growth overwhelms the American citizen.
Consider the ways a person might knowingly violate tax law by not reporting income, bartering, reporting vehicle sale price, business tax reporting, tip reporting, and so on. The list provided is not complete by far, but you get my point. While government imposes increasing burdens, "We the People" react by incriminating ourselves through personal actions to avoid the increased
burdens; an endless cycle of degrading actions and reactions between government and "We the People."
Solution: "We the People" must recognize that unlike anyplace else on earth, we have a God given constitutional authority that is established and provided for in our ruling founding documents. "We the People" must understand our authority to alter, replace and modify government for our benefit. Citizens need to apply the right to restrict government to the limits of the Constitution and then take action to force compliance. Citizens in Minnesota must recognize that the force of compliance is in the
people over government and not in government over the people.
