October 11th:
Taking the campaign to the streets. Virtually
every day we all travel around the district. The campaign staff has sent Tim on
a coordinated street type "meet and greet" campaign. Until election day you can
keep an eye for the green campaign bus at a local intersection near you. Stop by
and visit Tim and take a look inside the bus.

October 6th: Tim Utz
Endorses Barb Davis White
Tim Utz is pleased to announce his
endorsement of Barb Davis White for
Congressional District 5. Barb is a great
person, passionate, a lover of our country and the constitution. Barb and Tim do
not agree on every issue, but they stand together on the critical issues of
personal responsibility, constitutional rule of law, individual liberty and a
government subject to “We the People”. Visit Barb’s website at
http://www.barbdaviswhiteforcongress.com/
and get involved today.
October 6th: NRA
Endorsement
The
Campaign Committee for Constitutional Republicans is very pleased to receive an
endorsement for Tim Utz from the National Rifle Association-PVF. We officially
received the endorsement via letter on October 6th 2008. The NRA-PVF support and
endorsement reflect Tim’s commitment to upholding constitutional principles and
the Rule of Law. Our campaign graciously accepts this honorable endorsement.

31 days until election day.
The Tim Utz campaign bus made a stop on Friday, October 3rd 2008 at the Fridley
High School Homecoming football game. We had a pleasant time, watching the
football game, meeting some folks, and receiving many waves from passing
motorists. Keep an eye out as the Tim Utz for House green bus travels the
district right up to Election Day.

The Campaign
Committee for Constitutional Republicans is glad to announce we have yard signs
available. The yard signs are free but we appreciate a $10.00 donation to
replenish our supply. Contact us and someone will make a delivery to your
location.

August 25th: State Fair Update
Tim was a guest on KSTP “Garage Logic” Radio today. Joe Soucheray, Mayor of Garage Logic USA, took a few minutes of his State Fair show to have Tim as a guest. Joe provided the Political Grill test and Tim missed only one answer. Joe responded with “you still pass with one answer incorrect”.
At the end of the interview, Joe wished Tim good luck on the campaign. Tim became so nervous he forgot to have a picture taken while being interviewed by Joe. Therefore, for your pleasure, we took an on air picture of Joe and the Garage Logic staff. You can listen to the complete interview here.

August 24th: Meet and Greet
We had our first successful Sunday afternoon Campaign “street side meet and greet”. From 1:00PM to 3:00 PM Tim spent time waving at passing vehicles, talking to folks who stopped by and worked on his sun tan. Folks waved and honked in a show of support.
You can catch Tim any Sunday afternoon for the rest of the campaign season at 42nd and Central. Stop by, shake Tim’s hand, share some campaign moments, and bring your tanning lotion and camera for photos. The best campaign support is to tell others of our campaign. Sign up today on our website for yard signs and hosting a house party.
August 18th: A Sad
Day
Our
campaign staff member and events planner, John Paulson lost a dear relative this
morning in Akin, Minnesota. John’s uncle, Mr. Melkhuen, lost a battle with
cancer about 7:30 this morning in his home, with his wife at bedside. John said
he considered Mr. Melkhuen like a very close Grandfather.
The
Campaign Committee for Constitutional Republicans, our staff and Tim, Nadine Utz
extend our deepest condolences to John Paulson and his family. You can leave
messages for John here.

Our first official Saturday bus road trip through House District 50-A had
several adventures. Wes provided the driving skills today and provided Tim
plenty of opportunity to exit the bus and give out stickers and literature
to folks we came across.
We made stops at a community cookout, cruised through several local mall
parking lots, visibly but quietly meandered through several Fridley
neighborhoods, and finally stopped across the street at Target. At Target our
bus battery chose to give up and die on us. I contacted my emergency
services center, my wife Nadine, who came to our rescue with jumper cables.
While making our stop replenishing the fuel tank on the bus at Bobby and
Steve's Auto World, we meet an enthusiastic group of future voters from
Columbia Heights High School. They were spending the day fundraising for
equipment at school. Our last stop at David's Auto for battery replacement
and an oil change completed the Saturday adventure.
This Saturday we are out on the campaign trail again starting at 10:00 AM.
You are invited to join in and support our campaign. As always every
campaign has costs including our adventuresome run for the House District
50-A. You can contribute on line today or send a check. All donations are
welcome and appreciated, especially after we replace the battery and get an
oil change. See you all on the campaign trail.
